During a weekend getaway we more or less stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to have dinner there. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed in a friendly way and shown to our table. What immediately stood out was the staff: extremely polite, welcoming and hygienic. We were even treated to a complimentary starter, without having to ask for it. When ordering, the staff really took the time to think along with us and making small changes to dishes was absolutely no problem (for example: preferring onions instead of mushrooms). The steaks were cooked exactly the way we asked for and tasted great. The quality of the meat was average, but considering the prices, there’s really nothing to complain about. Later on, the chef came by our table as well. In fine dining restaurants this is more or less standard, but here it felt like a genuinely nice and personal touch. It was clear the chef takes real pleasure in his work, and that matters. A lot. Overall, it was a great dinner, mainly thanks to the outstanding staff. And of course, since this is a German restaurant, you can’t forget the final shot. By that time, they had already noticed that we enjoy a good drink and surprised us with a shot of slivovitz. Let’s just say it got the rest of the evening nicely “oiled up”. All in all, an absolute recommendation!

One of the best steaks i ever tried! Congratulations to the Chef! We ordered 3 Rib-Eye steaks and all of them were delicious, especially the medium-rare one! Amazing place, good prices and amazing staff as well. Super recommended!

A fantastic dining experience with family. Cook/Owner came out to greet us and his son was our server and went over and above in helping us with the language and assuring we were satisfied. Loved, loved, loved this place. If we are ever back in Herford, we will visit again.

Probably the best Steak dinner ive had in my life. Great service and a very nice locale. Very comfortable chairs and great staff. The Chef came out and had a nice chat with us. We were 8 people that came without reservation, no problem, we were seated immidiately and treated very well.

The best steak I have ever tasted! Great food for everyone on the table. Super nice waiter and super good service. Also a great place to bring a 3 year old, both because of the food, a playing area and the gentle people working there

I had an absolutely incredible dining experience at this restaurant! From start to finish, every aspect of my visit was impeccable. Let's start with the highlight: the food. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued customer, and that level of attentiveness continued throughout the entire meal. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Whether you're a meat lover or simply looking for an exceptional dining experience, this place is an absolute must-visit. Five stars all the way!
